RIC 2020 Lublin – Proposed social project

As is well known, the current conflict between the Ukraine and Russia causes various economical troubles in the Ukraine. For instance, there is still too little money for providing due care for children and young people. For many years, the Rotary Club Lublin and some other Clubs from Eastern Poland have co-operated with the Ukrainian Rotarians, offering various forms of help, particularly for children and young people.

The aim of the proposed social project is to help children from the Special School in the village Velyky Mezhyrychi in the Rivne district. The RIC contribution will be used for the repairing and expansion of sanitary facilities, shower cabins and separate toilets in the school.

Independently of the RIC’s financial aid, the Rotary Club Lublin will donate a complete equipment for the dental office and orthodontic workshop to the medical centre where the children from the Special School will be treated.

The whole project will be supervised by the Rotary Club Rivne President Olha Novytska, who, together with the School headmaster, undertook to make a detailed cost estimation.
